You’ve got to be kidding.
The day after we signed a contract and sold our house, a handyman was nailing in new baseboard in our master bath. Unknowingly, he hit a pipe next to our shower.
A few hours later, I noticed a little water under the baseboard…and a slight hissing noise. Oh no. I ran down to the basement…water was pouring from the ceiling onto the basement floor. ARGHHHHH. I went up to the kitchen and noticed my wood floor was starting to cup. The water went down the wall and under the floor. At this point, I’m in a panic and start searching for water/flood damage experts. The first company I called didn’t answer the phone. I called the next company which happened to be Water Extraction Experts. Doug answered the phone…he was perfectly calm. He said, “We’ll have a team out to your house in 20 minutes.” They actually showed up early and immediately got to work. Doug was very professional. He let me know exactly what needed to be done, how long it would take and put my frayed nerves to ease.
He saved our wood floors which would of been thousands of dollars to replace. I can’t say enough good things about this company. The bottom line is Doug and his team at Water Extraction Experts know what they’re doing. They get the job done and don’t overcharge. You can hire them knowing that you’re hiring a talented, ethical team that will do everything they can to save your walls, carpet, wood floors from water damage.

When we found mold on the wall in the garage, I was pretty concerned, especially when the big mold mitigation companies quoted me 3-5k costs for remediation. Working with Doug immediately eased my stress levels. He was honest, reliable, truly cared about health and safety, and his team did fantastic work. I cannot recommend him enough. So glad I made sure to slow down to select the right company as it makes a world of difference as a home owner.
