Rocky Mountain RetroFoam LLC Description
Rocky Mountain RetroFoam LLC is a Denver-based insulation contractor specializing in foam insulation and building-envelope solutions for residential and commercial properties across the greater Denver area.
The company focuses on improving indoor comfort, reducing drafts, and stabilizing temperature swings common in Colorado climates by installing RetroFoam injection insulation into existing wall cavities and applying both open-cell and closed-cell spray foam systems.
RetroFoam injection allows the business to seal and re-insulate existing walls without the need for large-scale demolition or remodeling, making it a preferred solution for older homes seeking energy-efficiency upgrades.
For new construction and projects requiring a full air barrier, the company offers open- and closed-cell spray foam to create a continuous thermal and air seal that enhances comfort and reduces heating and cooling loads.
Rocky Mountain RetroFoam serves a variety of project types, including existing homes, new builds, tiny homes, pole barns, grow houses, CMU core fill, commercial and agricultural structures.
Their approach emphasizes building science—using energy audits, blower door tests, and thermal imaging to diagnose envelope issues and tailor solutions that address root causes rather than symptoms.
The firm markets free estimates and highlights customer testimonials attesting to improved comfort, lower energy bills, and reduced noise after insulation.
Based in Denver (677 Alcott Street) and reachable via phone, the company positions itself as a local specialist in foam insulation, retrofit wall insulation, and full-envelope spray foam installations aimed at increasing energy efficiency and occupant comfort.

Review 1
Rocky Mountain RetroFoam installers did a great job. We did have a little snag on how the job was quoted to what actually how the process was done. The installers gave me a clear explanation on how the job needed to be done compared to the initial quote. It did wind up costing me a bit more because I had interior drywall that needed to be repaired and repainted. Rocky Mountain RetroFoam discounted the job to cover some of the additional costs for the interior repairs. All in all very happy with the service provided
Review 2
Crew was efficient and thorough and gave me good advice for an additional DIY step I could take to protect even further a problem overhang area. Immediate results made an old addition the same temperature as the rest of the house for the first time. Site was clean at the end despite a lot of drilling and surplus foam during the process.
Typical Costs

This is for basic services like removing debris, old insulation, or minor mold.
Foundation and Structural Repairs: $2,500 ~ $8,000
This includes fixing things like a damaged support beam or re-leveling the foundation.
Waterproofing and Moisture Control: $1,500 ~ $5,000
This might involve installing a drainage system or a sump pump.
