Review 1
Great service. After the latest flash flood event in the Mad River Valley we ended up with water in our basement. Found 802 Basement Waterproofing through the googleverse and shortly after called and left a VM. Received a call back the same day and was fortunate that Ray was in the area and had a few moments to stop by later in the afternoon. Suffice it to say I did not get the same response from the two other companies I spoke to. Ray arrived exactly at the designated time and he was very thorough in his diagnosis. I was impressed by his knowledge of foundations and water management which led to an agreeable solution for my basement. Ray was honest, direct and thoughtful in his approach and did not oversell things I did not need. Highly recommend. Thank you Ray!
Review 2
Ray was instrumental when I bought my home last year: it required a major foundation repair that I needed to have assessed before I could know whether I could afford to buy the house, and he made time to come over quickly, talk about what the job would involve, and provide a quote.
After I bought the house, Ray and Veronica and crew performed the repair, replacing a foundation wall at the back of my garage despite some major excavation obstacles. Water had been flowing through my garage and seeping into my laundry room: after the repair, they were both bone dry, and the improvement was very obvious–see the pictures. In addition, since it had been necessary to excavate around my garage, when they refilled where they had excavated, they also changed the landscape and even brought in some gravel–a huge improvement. And the whole job, including the landscaping, came in right at the original estimate range!
The job did take much longer than we had talked about hoping it would do, due mainly (as I understand it) to weather and workload, but I was so happy with the results, I don’t mind having had to wait. I did also have some trouble getting communication early on, but later in the project, they became much more responsive.
