We had a crew from USA Insulation came to do our home 5/13/2025 at 219 S Main St. Monticello. They were extremely considerate and explained everything clearly. We hope they will be the crew that comes to insulate our attic when we are ready. They, along with Louie who was amazing, should be rewarded for their outstanding work.

Attached are some before and after photos. Overall, I’d say it was a positive experience. You can see how well everything is sealed in the photos.

Our situation leading up to this project was mildly stressful as we had mold on our rim joist from cold condensation over the winter, so I wanted so get the rim joist spray foam insulated in order to create an air barrier and help insulate the area.

USA Insulation had a great sales team and front office that was great at answering any questions we had. One item I stressed was getting the sill plate sealed, I was told it would be and it was mentioned in the quote. When the spray foam team came out, I noticed they were not spraying the sill plate. I checked with the crew leader and we sorted it out by checking the invoiced paperwork. The team was quick to fix the mistake and apologized for missing that piece.

I walked around with the team to make sure we got the proper amount of insulation installed and that all gaps were filled. After everything settled and I doubled checked the work, there are a few spots I want to touch up, but overall the work looks really good and I’m happy that we got this project finished and over with. I would recommend highly USA Insulation for a rim joist spray foam job.
