We had been having issues with mold in our home and suspected that the crawlspace could be the culprit. I research companies ans contacted Groundworks. Joe Daleo came over and did a really thorough job of inspecting our property including our crawlspace and foundation. He found that there was moisture on one side of our property due to ground water settling. We decided to move forward with encapsulation after feeling confident with the information that Joe provided. We waited about a month to get started as we had some other home projects we needed to get done first. During that time, Joe maintained communication and I was able to reach him whenever I needed, which was awesome.

When the work started, Brandon and his team, including Edgar, Alberto, and Jose all showed up with a smile. Brandon gave me regular updates and pictures of what was going on with the work. Whenever I encountered any of the guys, they were always polite and professional. I know it was difficult work to be underneath my house for eight hours a day and I couldn’t understand how they could still be so friendly and genuinely happy. Joe Daleo continue to be in contact with me during the project and came over to check on the work that was being done.

Since the encapsulation was completed, we have noticed that the temperature of our home stays more regulated and the musty scents have dissipated. We also noticed that the rooms on the side of the house with the moisture used to feel muggy and now they don’t. We are so happy that we chose Groundworks and decided to encapsulate our crawlspace. I highly recommend them!
