I had an energy audit completed on my house by an independent contractor as part of the energize DE program. One finding was insufficient attic insulation. I had two estimates, one company on the ‘approved program contractor list’, to take advantage of the state rebate program, and one outside the program (Delmarva). The in-program contractor was more than double for the same job and didn’t even do an in-person inspection. Nothing fishy going on there. Anyway, overall experience with Delmarva, from estimate to job, was perfect. Very responsive and organized. Installers and office folks as well.
