Had a few rod holes plugged, an old leaky furnace exhaust addressed, and a new sump pump installed as a proactive move against some minor water issues in my basement. I like to get a few different quotes, as is always recommended when getting contract work, but between my own laziness and the stellar reviews of Michigan Basements, I decided to just go with them immediately following a great experience with the sales member. That was followed up with a nice call where another team member reviewing the quote made a suggestion for improvement that was followed. The team showed up on the right day and the right time which in itself can be hard to find. The work crew was great. In two months I’m getting married so the house has become a storage unit for a lot of the wedding stuff, especially the basement. So I was stressed about some of it getting dusty/dirty. But to my surprise they took dust control to a level that thoroughly impressed me. They even tried fixing up some of the landscaping (bush and some pavers had to get removed) when installing the plumbing portion out into the front yard. Even enjoyed a nice break where we all got some ice cream from the ice cream truck driving around. Everyone involved provided excellent communication and transparency. Not well versed in this field but the pricing seemed good too. What more can you ask for?
Photo included for the dust barriers they had set up. They also had me turn off my AC/fan and used some equipment to contain the dust best as possible. I’m sure those with special breathing issues like asthma would be safe in their hands.
