I highly recommend REI inspections! They recently inspected an older cabin we are buying. They did a very thorough job, crawling in every crook and cranny they could fit!! They then did a detailed walk through of the property with me explaining their findings. The next day I received a full report including pictures which prioritized all repairs needed. It also included images of the correct way next to picture of incorrect on cabin so you could tell what is wrong. They are licensed and I could tell very knowledgeable about construction and current codes. They didn’t just go through the motions they wanted to go over and above for their business!
