Spohr’s Wet Basement Solutions Description
Spohr’s Wet Basement Solutions is a Lincoln, Nebraska–based contractor specializing in diagnosing and correcting residential and small‑commercial water intrusion and foundation issues.
Operating since 1985, the company provides a full suite of waterproofing and foundation services including interior and exterior drainage systems, sump pumps and battery backup installation, foundation repair and stabilization, concrete lifting and repair, basement floor leveling, and moisture mitigation.
In addition to waterproofing and structural services, Spohr’s offers grading, landscaping, retaining and natural stone wall construction, and site drainage improvements designed to divert surface water away from buildings and reduce hydrostatic pressure against foundations.
Spohr’s emphasizes on-site inspection and diagnosis to identify root causes of wet basements and foundation movement, and aims to provide solutions that minimize unnecessary replacement—favoring targeted repairs, drainage upgrades, or concrete lifting when appropriate.
The company markets pre‑purchase inspection and consulting services for prospective homeowners and sellers, and publishes educational content on common basement and foundation problems to help customers understand repair options.
Spohr’s handles project planning, installation, and post‑installation follow up, and offers free estimates to homeowners in Lincoln and surrounding areas.
With multi‑decade local experience, practical repair options (including non‑replacement concrete lifting), and combined expertise in landscaping and drainage, Spohr’s positions itself as a single‑source contractor for preventing and correcting wet basements, stabilizing foundations, and managing site water to protect homes from moisture and structural damage.

Review 1
We had an issue with water seeping into the finished area of our basement. Spohr’s was able to determine the cause very quickly and immediately went to work on correcting the issue.
David was very courteous, knowledgeable and eager to talk to me about the nature of the problem as they were performing their work.
From start to finish (diagnosis to correction) within a few hours, they were done.
Finding a contractor you feel good about can sometimes be difficult, but I would definitely recommend reaching out to Spohr’s if you have any issues with water in your basement.
Review 2
I had a porch restoration project come to a halt because the contractor noticed an issue with the grading. I reached out to Dave and his team, and they were able to address the problem within a couple of days. They completed the project in a single day, which allowed my restoration project to continue without significant delays. The team was professional, efficient, and did an excellent job. I highly recommend their services for any landscaping or grading needs.
