Islands Crawlspace, Savannah Ga Basement Repair / Encapsulation Description
Islands Crawlspace is a regional crawlspace and basement moisture-control contractor serving Savannah, GA and surrounding communities in coastal Georgia and southern South Carolina.
The company specializes in crawlspace encapsulation and waterproofing services designed to stop moisture intrusion, control humidity, and protect structural elements such as floor joists and support piers.
Core services include full crawlspace encapsulation, installation of heavy-gauge vapor barriers, drainage system installation, crawlspace dehumidification, mold remediation, and moisture removal.
Islands Crawlspace also installs and services sump pumps, crawlspace fans, and ventilation or drainage components to eliminate standing water and prevent future flooding.
The firm emphasizes professional, site-specific repairs rather than DIY fixes: technicians inspect the access, remove damaged ground cover, assess rot and mold levels, and recommend solutions ranging from vapor barrier replacement to installing dehumidifiers and sump systems.
Typical materials and products used include 90-mil polyethylene liners, sealed seam systems, commercial-grade dehumidifiers, sub-slab or perimeter drains, and mechanical sump pumps.
Work often includes repair or replacement of deteriorated joists and support piers when moisture damage has compromised structural integrity.
Targeting homeowners concerned about indoor air quality, mold, sagging floors, and long-term structural damage, Islands Crawlspace provides free estimates and service across multiple local markets (Savannah, Richmond Hill, Rincon, Statesboro, St.
Simons Island, Bluffton, Hilton Head, Beaufort, and Charleston).
Their approach focuses on preventing recurring moisture issues through comprehensive encapsulation, drainage, and mechanical dehumidification solutions to extend the life and livability of homes in humid coastal climates.

Review 1
We are extremely happy with the results of the encapsulation that Crawlspace Doctor completed in our crawlspace. Crawlspace Doctor came out when they said they would and were always true to their word. Greg kept us informed every step of the process and was a blessing during this very concerning issue with our house.
Review 2
It was a blessing the day I saw a truck from Greg McBride’s Crawlspace Doctor at my local home improvement store. I called and he was quick to fit me in his schedule to get an estimate. I was very impressed with Greg. He came and assessed the condition of my crawlspace and explained what he thought we needed to know and gave me a price on the spot. We had already gotten an estimate from another company in the area and their price 2.5 times higher for the same job and that was only if we signed a contract that day, if not it would be slightly higher. Greg had his people start the next day and within two weeks my crawlspace was clean and dry. No more issues. It has been a pleasure working with Greg McBride and his company. I wish all businesses would have the exceptional customer service that Greg and his people give to their customers. I would highly recommend Greg and his company to anyone needing superior service. Thanks for the great work.
