If you’re on the fence about calling Groundworks, just do it. We are so happy we called them! Colin came out and inspected our 1820’s farmhouse. I wanted an evaluation of our foundation and crawl space. He was on time, communicative, knowledgeable and professional. He gave us an evaluation and provided recommendations but he also educated us as to what to look out for should issues arise in the future. He answered all of our questions, was very personable, and we wouldn’t hesitate to contract with him once work needs to be done. Nick and his team installed a new replacement triple safe sump pump in my basement on April 25, 2025. My previous pump from Groundworks (previously BQ Basement) performed beautifully for 10 years before starting to feel its age.
Nick was very knowledgeable and pleasant. After the install, his testing of the pump’s functionality showed that an additional tweak was needed, and he remained focused and conscientious until he was satisfied that all was working properly. He then took the time to explain the install to me.
After experiencing severe thunderstorms with heavy downpours over the last several days, I’m happy to say that my basement is still completely dry and unaffected.
