Incredible experience with Mark and his team!!!! Hire this company! Honest, fast, professional, kind, disarming, and affordable.
I bought my first home in 2016 and was devastated when I discovered mold in my crawlspace. Before I was given Mark’s number, I had three other highly “reputable” companies come to bid on the mold remediation. All three companies reps gave me almost identical scare tactic scenarios of how the mold under my house will cause me to become severely ill if I don’t act immediately. They all recommended mold remediation, a French drain, encapsulation and two industrial humidifiers. I was terrified that I was going to get sick. I was extremely frustrated by the level of fear these guys stressed when talking about mold. The cheapest quote I was given was $18k. I was sick after the quotes; completely stressed on how I would pay for such a massive home expense after just buying the home.
Enter Mark Stinnett and Columbia Crawlspace. I called Mark to get one last quote and told him the story and shared the other quotes with him. Mark was immediately kind and disarming. He gently explained and educated me on mold, and calmed the fears used by the other guys to “close the deal”. Mark took the time to thoroughly examine my crawlspace and recommend the least expensive solution. At no time did he try to “up sell” products I didn’t need, like a French drain or dehumidifiers. In fact, he discouraged me when I inquired and suggested we purchase these options as a last resort. He certainly could have taken advantage and made money off me but chose not to. I had to push and convince him on the French drain. On top of his honesty and empathy toward my situation, he was less than half of the cost of my lowest bid!!! The crew he sent to encapsulate the Crawlspace was fast, professional, respectful and left an incredibly clean workspace. The encapsulation looked amazing!
I have had zero moisture or mold issues and the encapsulation has worked incredibly. The issues have been completely resolved. I’ve called Mark on several occasions with random questions and he has always taken the time to answer me and be attentive, years after he completed the work. That’s extremely rare.
Mark and Columbia Crawlspace truly care about the customer and the work they do. I have consistently recommended them and figured I should post a review for anyone considering. I’ve recommended Mark and his company many times to friends and they have all been as happy as I have been.

Mr. Stinnet took a very unsafe condition, in the crawl space, and rectified it with his encapsulation process. The entire area is now fully insulated and an air circulator ensures any toxic air is vented to the outside of my home. The air beneath my home is now conditioned and I will never have to worry about an unsafe condition again. Mark and his team members were extremely kind and professional. Each evening, they would pick up as to where you did not even know they had been there that day. I have never seen a contractor conduct themselves to this level. I would absolutely recommend this company and all their services. Ms. Reva

This includes fixing things like a damaged support beam or re-leveling the foundation.
Waterproofing and Moisture Control: $1,500 ~ $5,000
