Utah Radon Defense Description
Utah Radon Defense is a Utah-based environmental services company specializing in radon testing, radon mitigation, and indoor air quality protection for residential and commercial properties.
The company conducts professional radon testing using industry-standard monitors and protocols to identify elevated radon levels and assess risk.
When high radon is detected, Utah Radon Defense designs and installs customized radon mitigation systems — commonly using sub-slab depressurization, ventilation, sealing of entry points, and targeted ducting and fan systems — to reduce indoor radon concentrations to safe levels.
Their offerings include diagnostic testing, full-system installations, follow-up post-mitigation testing, and routine maintenance or repairs of radon mitigation equipment.
Technicians deliver site-specific mitigation plans that consider building construction, foundation type, and occupant needs, aiming to achieve EPA-recommended radon levels.
The company serves homeowners, property managers, real estate professionals, and businesses across Utah, providing consultations, free estimates, and guidance on radon risk and compliance with local standards.
Utah Radon Defense also emphasizes homeowner education on radon hazards and preventive measures, and typically provides documentation of test results and system performance for real estate transactions.
Overall, Utah Radon Defense’s primary products are radon testing services, turnkey radon mitigation system installations, and ongoing system support — helping clients lower indoor radon concentrations, protect occupant health, and meet inspection or disclosure requirements during property sales.

Review 1
Exceptional work on a tough job. Ran the exhaust from the basement through to the roof on a two story home with 9′ ceilings and a high-pitched attic. We had to expand a chase on the second floor. JJ installed the pipe in the basement with artistic skill. It literally looks like it was always there. All carpet and stairs were covered while the work was being done and shoe covers on. The cleanup was great and professionalism incredible. Highly recommend! Thank you for the great work. Super pleased .
Review 2
Highly recommend! So professional, honest, and flexible. Great communication all the way through. We live in Cache Valley and I received notifications about arrival time well in advance of being 10-15 minutes behind our planned time (understandable due to the distance). The system was installed SO WELL from our basement, through the garage and attic and out the roof. JJ laid down mats all throughout the inside of our house to ensure he didn’t mess up our carpet or LVP. He cleaned up as he went and did not leave a mess for us to deal with. JJ is super knowledgeable about places to test for radon after installation. I am happy to share that our radon levels in the areas of potential concern (as well as the entire basement) have dropped below where they are considered hazardous. I am super pleased and happy I went with Utah Radon Defense. Totally worth every penny.
